INSTALLATION
Identify a suitable surface and position to install the instrument.
Mark the positions of the two mounting holes as shown in the installation diagram.
Drill (and tap, if need be) the two mounting holes (we recommend using a cheese-headed screw M10,
grade 8.8, fixed at a torque of 35 ÷ 40 Nm). Make sure that the mounting surface can support the Dyna-
tester when the maximum permissible torque is applied.
Connect the power supply to the instrument. All the segments light and the buzzer sounds briefly.
The Dynatester is now ready for use.
OPERATION
MODE button
Press the MODE button briefly to display the current mode of operation.
Press and hold the MODE button to change the mode of operation. Release the button at the required
mode to accept.
MODES OF OPERATION:
• Track Mode (TRAC is displayed): the display reads the torque being applied.
• Click Mode (CLIC is displayed): the display shows the first peak of torque being applied. The serial
data output of peak torque is automatically transmitted. The display automatically resets after
3 seconds. For use with click type torque wrenches.
• Dial Mode (DIAL is displayed): the display shows the peak of torque being applied. Press RESET
to clear the display. For use with analogue and electronic torque wrenches.
UNIT button
Press UNIT to change the unit of measurement.
