INSTALLATION NOTE: Certain other communications devices may also
use the 900 MHz frequency for communication, and, if not properly
set, these devices may interfere with each other and/or your new
telephone. If you are concerned with interference, please refer to the
owner's manual for these devices on how to properly set channels to
avoid interference.
Installing the Handset Battery
NOTE : You must connect the handset battery before use.
1.
Push down on the top of the battery compartment door and
remove it.
2.
Lift the battery pack and plug the battery connector to the jack
inside the compartment.
NOTE : It is important to maintain the polarity (black and red wires) to
the jack inside the compartment.
3.
Close the battery compartment by pushing the door up until it
snaps into place.
4.
Place the handset in the charging cradle.
Connecting the AC (Electrical) Power
Plug the power supply cord into the power jack on the back of the
base and the other end into an electrical outlet. The charge/in use
indicator turns on to indicate the battery is charging when the
handset is on the cradle.
Allow the phone to charge for 12 hours prior to first use. If you do not
properly charge the phone, battery performance is compromised.
CAUTION: Use only the ATLINKS USA, Inc. 5-2652 power supply
that came with this unit. Using other power supplies may
damage the unit.
Connecting the RF Module
Insert the RF module into the back of the base unit until it snaps
into place. The display will show
connected properly.
