1. Turn the engine switch to "ON".
2. Repeat pressing the priming button with finger until it stops at the top. [10 times or
more]
If the priming button is pressed, the fuel will be sucked up for an easy start.
3. Turn the choke lever to the fully closed position.
If any fuel remains and the engine is warm, turn the choke lever to the fully
opened position.
4. Turn the throttle lever to midway between "low speed" position and "high speed"
position.
5. Retaining the engine, grip the recoil starter grip and strongly pull it.
6. After the engine starts, gradually turn the choke lever to the fully opened position,
observing the running state of the engine.
If it does not start with an explosive sound alone, turn the choke lever to the fully
opened position. Then, strongly pull the starter grip again.
・ This engine is constructed to return excess fuel to the tank when the priming
button is operated. Therefore, it is not excessively sucked up even if the priming
button is pressed many times. Rather than less fuel cousing bad start up, we
recommend to press the button a sufficient number of times.
