the ground and maintain an adequate safety distance
from the branch being cut.
60º max.
Maintain an adequate safety distance from the branch
being cut. Think where the branch will fall and make
sure you are not in that area. The security distance
should be at least double the length of the branch
being cut.
7.2. ADJUSTING THE LENGTH OF THE LANCE
The length of the lance can be adjusted. To adjust the
length of the lance:
1. Loosen the ring by turning it in the direction
marked by the unlock arrow.
2. Lengthen or shorten the
pole to desired length.
3. Tighten the ring by turning it in the direction
marked by the arrow.
Be sure that you pressed the ring tight enough before
starting up the machine.
Periodically check all adjustments so as to avoid
accidents.

• The cut is not straight.
• Vibrations increase.
• When cutting, instead of the log splitting, you see
small shavings.

7.4. CUTTING WITH THE MACHINE
We recommend that you first train cutting small
branches in an easy position so as to achieve
expereience before moving onto more complicated
cutting techniques.
Always follow all security norms described in this
manual.
Only use this machine to cut wood. It is strictly
prohibited to cut any other material with this machine.
Do not use this machine to move objects.
Whilst cutting use the machine delicately. Only provide
a small pressure downwards but with the machine
at full throttle. The weight of the machine will be
sufficient to cut.
If the machine gets tangled, do not pull at it whilst the
machine is switched on. Stop the machine and use a
wedge to free the machine.
