"RDS"
The "RDS" function makes it possible
to listen to a station without interruption
during a journey by dealing automati-
cally with changes in frequency.
You are notified of the radio station
you are listening to in text form as well
as traffic information and messages
throughout your journey.
Traffic information is generally sent via
"RDS".
Options
Note: not all radio stations offer this
possibility.

Poor reception can sometimes cause
erratic and annoying changes in fre-
quency. In this case you should deac-
tivate the automatic frequency retuning.
"TA" (traffic information)
When this feature is activated, your
multimedia system looks for and plays
traffic bulletins automatically as new re-
ports are issued by some radio stations
"FM" and "DAB".
Note: The automatic broadcasting of
traffic information is deactivated when
the audio system is set to the "AM"
band.
Traffic information is broadcast au-
tomatically and has priority over the
source being listened to at the time.
Select "On" to activate this function or
"Off" to deactivate it.
