You must not setup more for normal baby monitoring!
• The baby device monitors the baby automatically on sounds and keeps contact with the
parent device over the automatic range control. Upon delivery, the highest sensitivity level
is preset and the automatic range monitoring is enabled. In the display you will see
long as this symbol can be seen and is not flashing, the connection to the other device
exists.
• If the baby cries, parents can also talk back to the baby at any time during a pause (if
the baby cries longer, there is a "forced break" after every 20 seconds during monitoring
where you can talk to the baby for 10 seconds). To do this, press the Talk button (left
side)
• During disturbances and possible operation of other devices on the same channel, the
automatic range control can trigger a false alarm – then please use the manual range
control or change the channel or location – moving a device a few cm can already help!
Manual Automatic Range Control: By pressing the range button
check at any time if contact to the baby device exists as an alternative to automatic. Shortly after
you have pressed the button, the baby device sends a confirmation melody. The baby himself
does not hear it, because the baby device remains silent.
first time after 2-3 x charging and discharging (i.e. use outside the charging base). To charge the
baby device, it is imperative that you use only the automatic charging base. Only in the
automatic charging base is the battery thus monitored and recharged that your baby device will
neither be empty nor overloaded in the charging base after longer operating time. A full charge
can last for up to 6 hours in the automatic charging base. When the battery is fully charged, the
LED flashes in the automatic charging base. The standard charging base is intended more for
the parent device. To recharge, turn off the parent device, around 8-10 hours are required for a
full charge. Then remove the device, because the charge in this charging base will not
automatically stop!

Notes on batteries: The information in the instruction manual is valid
for 4 pieces of single cell AAA and for the possibly supplied battery
pack. Please place the battery pack as shown in the battery box! The
arrow must point up and you need to see the writing. Then the
battery is inserted correctly. If you use 4 individual batteries or NIMH
rechargeable AAA batteries instead of the battery pack, please note
the correct polarity as marked inside the compartment. Such batteries
are also used as a replacement for a battery pack as in every
supermarket. Alkaline batteries have up to max. 35 hours,
rechargeable NiMH batteries up to about 12 hours of standby time.
The Battery icon shows the charge state of the battery in the on
state. (3 bars = full, no bars = empty) At best, check the battery
quality briefly each time you send! If the bar value stays the same,
then that is a good sign for the battery quality. If the display clearly
decreases when sending, e.g. to 1 bar, then the battery is nearly
empty or a charged battery is at the end of its life and needs to be
replaced (batteries can load some 100 x and then decrease more and
more in performance).
Before monitoring your baby for the first time, it is imperative to
allow the device with the new battery to charge for a few hours in
the off state. As with all batteries, the full power will be reached the
