Safety instructions
• The switches installed shall not be removed or bridged
over, e. g. by binding the switch to the handle.
• Do not allow the cord spool to strike the ground
or edges of working area. If the cord spool
receives a hard knock, this will cause a strong
vibration on the handle. If this occurs, the trimmer
should be checked by a qualified service centre.

• Before examining or cleaning the tool or before
removing the safety device or the cord spool,
switch off and disconnect the trimmer from the

• The cutting knife should not be cleaned under
running water or under high-pressure.
• Faults shall only be repaired by appointed
service centres or by the manufacturer.
• Make sure all air holes are free of dirt.
• Do not store the unit within reach of children.
5. Charger
• The charger may only be used in dry rooms.
• Unplug cable connections only by pulling on the plug.
Pulling on the cable could damage cable as well as
plug and electrical safety could not be guaranteed.

Charging
The lawn trimmer must be charged for
approximately 9 hours before using it
for the first time.
Use only the original WOLF charger
(part number 7134 061).
1. Remove battery from the trimmer D .
2. Plug in charging unit and insert battery E .

plugged in and the battery is inserted
correctly, both control lamps E (6), (7)
light up.

• Never use the charger if cable, plug, or the device
itself have been damaged through external influence.
Bring the charger to the nearest repair shop.
• Under no circumstances should you open the
charger. In case of a malfunction take the device
to a repair shop.
6. Dispose of batteries in an environmentally
responsible manner
• WOLF batteries are nickel
cadmium rechargeable
batteries, and therefore must
be disposed of in accordance
with waste disposal
regulations. Return defective batteries to your
dealer for disposal. Batteries must be removed
from the appliance before it is scrapped.
• WOLF batteries are best suited for battery-powered
electric appliances, according to the state of the
art. Nickel cadmium batteries are harmful to the
environment if disposed of with other household waste.
• WOLF Garten would like to encourage
environmentally friendly consumer attitudes. Working
together with you and WOLF dealers we guarantee
the acceptance and recycling of used batteries.
7. Disposal
• Do not dispose of electrical equipment
in domestic waste. Recycle equipment,
accessories and packaging in an
environment-friendly manner.
Use charging unit only in dry rooms!
3 • In order to prolong the life the battery, it
should not be charged for a period longer
than two days.
• The battery will achieve its full capacity
only after it has been charged and dis-
charged several times.
• Do not charge the battery before extend-
ed periods of non-use, e.g. before storing
for the winter.
• The charging time is 9 hours for a bat-
tery that is completely empty (ideally, you
should not charge the battery until shortly
before you use the trimmer).
• The battery should be completely empty
before charging. If this is not possible, the
battery should be completely discharged
at least three times during each season.
