60 7 CARE AND MAINTENANCE
7.7 PASSING ON THE PRODUCT FOR REUSE
Your product is suitable for transfer to/reuse by
others, unless it is a custom-made device and
marked accordingly. The number of times it can
be reused depends on the extent of material
wear and whether the product is still in good
working order.
When passing on the product for reuse, please
remember to hand over all the technical docu-
ments necessary for safe handling and use to
the new user or the specialist retailer.
Before it is reused, the product must be cleaned,
disinfected, checked for damage and approved
by a specialist retailer.
As part of this, all the inspection points listed in
the maintenance schedule must be checked on
the product.
7.8 STORAGE
If you wish to store the product, ensure that it is
kept in a dry place protected against direct,
strong sunlight and at a temperature of 0°C to
+45°C. To save space during storage, you can
fold the product (Chapter 4.10).
After longer periods of storage (> 4 months),
please check all the inspection points on the
product as listed in the maintenance schedule
before reusing/redeploying the product.

WARNING
Risk of infection: The product must be di-
sinfected before each change of user. This is im-
portant for avoiding cross-contamination.
NOTE
Products marked as custom-made are excluded
from transfer and reuse.
WARNING
Do not store the product near a heat source and
do not place any objects on the product during
storage.
