6. Assembly
Check that all parts, necessary tools and safety aids are present (e.g. helmet, gloves, and safety shoes). Required tools:
•
Rope
•
Spirit level
•
Assemble the components following the steps shown in appendix T4
•
Make all the connections as shown in annex T3
Step 1
1. Start with two frames (T2: A). Install the wheels (T2: B) in the
frames and apply the brake [T3.1-3.3].
2. Install a double guardrail brace (T2: C) with the upper claw on
top of the 4th rung [T3.3].
3. Level out the base section using a spirit level. If necessary,
adjust the wheel legs by screwing the wheel leg nut up or down.
Step 2
1. Place two frames (T2: A) on top of one another and secure
[T3: F4-F6]. Repeat this step. Place these linked frames on the
base section and secure [T3.5-3.6].
2. Install a double guardrail brace (T2: C) with the upper claw
below the 8th rung [T3.3].
3. Place a platform (T2: D) on the 8th rung [T3.7-3.8].
4. Install the triangular stabilisers (T2: E); [T3.10-3.14]. Check if all
stabilisers make good contact with the ground. Adjust the
stabilizers if necessary.
5. Slide out the platform's hanging mechanism [T3.9] and hang 2x
a double guardrail brace here.
6. Climb through the hatch and sit on the platform with your legs
through the hatch.
7. Mount 2x a double guardrail brace (T2: C) with the upper claw
on top of the 4th rung of the frames [T3.3].
Step 3
1. Climb down and on the platform's hanging mechanism hang: 2x a linked frame (T2:A), [T3.4], a platform (T2:D) and a double
guardrail brace (T2:C).
2. Access the platform, install the linked frames and secure them (T3.5-3.6]
3. Install a double guardrail brace with the upper claws under the 4th rung of the frames that have just been installed [T3.3]
4. Place a platform on the 4th rung of the frames you have just installed [T3.7-3.8]
Step 4
1. Climb down and on the platform's hanging mechanism hang: 2x a double guardrail brace (T2:C) and (only if the required working
height has been reached) a toe board set (T2:F).
2. Climb through the hatch and sit on the platform with your legs through the hatch.
3. Mount 2x a double guardrail brace (T2: C) with the upper claw on top of the 4th rung of the frames [T3.
4. Only once the required working height has been reached: install the toe board set (T2:F).
Step 1

1. Place a platform (T2: D) on the 4th rung. [T3.7-3.8]
2. Install 2x a double guardrail brace (T2: C) with the upper claw
on top of the 8th rung [T3.3].
3. Mount the triangular stabilisers (T2:E); [T3.10-3.14]. Check if all
stabilisers make good contact with the ground. Adjust the
stabilizers if necessary.
4. Slide out the platform's hanging mechanism [T3.9].
