❚ 3.5 REGISTERING
When the Gateway have access to internet is possible to register it to the IoT Cloud Platform
and link it to the corresponding installation/s.
3.5.1 REGISTER GATEWAY

Gateway Name: Write a user-friendly name to identify better this Gateway. This will

complement the Gateway ID used to authenticate it with the cloud.
Email: Registering process needs to authenticate that the user is an authorized

user to perform this action, a valid IoT Platform user e-mail must be provided ant a
security code is necessary to complete the process.
Password: User IoT Platform Password to validate identity.

Gateway Password: Is mandatory to write the current Gateway Password to confirm

the registration. No Default passwords allowed for registered Gateways.
After successful registration, the Web server redirects you to the "Change Password"
screen, in order to update the Gateway password, because is not allowed in the Cloud to
have registered Gateways with the default password.
3.5.2 INSTALLATIONS LINK
Once the Gateway is correctly registered to a Cloud Platform User, the cloud provides
the List of sites and installations where you can assign the Gateway. The Gateway can be
