1. GATEWAY DESCRIPTION
The Gateway allows connecting sanitary products implementing Bluetooth to the Roca
Group Platform (RGP).
There are two versions of the Gateway:
• Standard (ref. A5A5279C00) – Internet connection through Wi-Fi or Ethernet
• LTE (ref. A5A5379C00) – in addition to Wi-Fi or Ethernet, it may connect to the Internet
through LTE.

10/100 Mbps (1 with PoE).

• LTE:
BG96 (CAT M1) (reference A5A5379C00 only).

2x user configurable switches.

2x status LED's.
Integrates an embedded web server oriented to perform the gateway's configuration and
the enrolment of Bluetooth devices to the cloud.
Built-in secure element IC providing device to device authentication, key storage and data
protection.
Wi-Fi range (chip antenna): 95m (line of sight).
Bluetooth range (PCB antenna): 60m (line of sight).
Data management (telemetry / commands) implemented by means of MQTTS.
It allows firmware over the air programming (FOTA): both gateway and products.
It implements several product libraries: Roca, Roca TW, Micas, Oblamatic, Noventa, Tece
Operating voltage: 5VDC (-0.25/+0.5 VDC).
Current consumption: 3A (maximum).
Powered by a 110-240VAC (50/60 Hz) / 5VDC; 3A, external power supply, or by PoE (power
over Ethernet).
Operating temperature: -10ºC ~ 65ºC.
Water ingress protection: IP41.
Wall mounting.
