INDICATIONS
Lower back conditions that may benefit
from gross motion restriction, such as;
• Muscular low back pain.
• Lumbosacral strains.
• Chronic low back pain.
• Sciatica.
PERFORMANCE
The device provides lumbar spine gross
motion restriction.
The device reduces stress on the low
back in flexion and extension
CONTRAINDICATION
Must not be used by individuals for
whom compression is contraindicated.
WARNING • PRECAUTION OF USE
Patients suffering from pelvic floor
weakness should consult with their
medical professional before using the
orthosis.
The orthosis must not be used in direct
contact with a damaged skin.
This product contains Naturel Rubber
Latex which may cause allergic
reactions.
Do not wear for extended periods
without medical follow-up.
The orthosis is a single patient use
device. Do not use for multiple
patients.
If any problems occur with the use of
the orthosis, e.g. pain or appearance
of local signs, remove the orthosis and
contact your healthcare professional
The user and/or patient must
report any serious incident that has
occurred in relation to the device to
the manufacturer and the competent
authority of the Member State in which
the user and/or patient is established.
Gradual withdrawal possibly combined
with functional physiotherapy.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS
The device is a lumbar stretchable
belt featuring four V-shaped posterior
stays.
Ergonomic finger loops facilitate
installation.
SET UP AND OPERATION
The first trial should be carried out
by a qualified expert to understand
the correct fitting and how to put the
device on properly. Subsequently, the
product should be put on the patient
in the same way by the user, a family
member or a friend.
During testing, the fitter must shape
the V-shaped ribs of the brace to adjust
it to your form.
- Wear over an undergarment or light
clothing,
1) Position the bottom part of the belt
at the top of the gluteal cleft
2) Center the dorsal stays on either side
of the spine. The Gibaud logo must be
on the right side; the stays form a V
on either side of the lumbar column.
3) The belt must be closed by stretching
the two sides symmetrically using the
finger holes.
CARE INSTRUCTION, MAINTENANCE AND
DISPOSAL
Store the brace away from sources of
extreme heat (including radiators and
tumble dryers). Hand wash in warm
soapy water (maximum 40° C), rinse
thoroughly. Wring out gently; do not
bleach; dry flat, do not tumble dry; do
not iron; do not dry clean.
The device and packaging must
be disposed of in accordance
with respective local or national
environmental regulations.
