OQUO WHEELS
AFTER A FALL OR IMPACT
Falling off the bike is inherent to cycling. If you
are involved in an accident with your bicycle,
make sure you are well and seek medical
attention if necessary. If you have not suffered
any injuries, you should check the condition
of your bike before continuing. Refer to your
bicycle manual for the checks to be made
before continuing your ride.
Inspect the wheels and all components for
damage:
· Check for broken, bent or loose spokes.
· Make sure that the hub is not damaged.
· Make sure that the rims are not damaged.
· Make sure that there is no side or vertical
deviation of the rim.
· Check that the hubs and freehub body are in
good working condition.
· Check the condition and pressure of the tires.
If you discover any damage to the components,
stop using the bicycle immediately.
Carbon rims are stiff and strong,
but under overload or impact, the
fibers do not bend, they break. A
sufficiently strong impact on this
material could result in damage
that, although not visible at first
glance, could lead to material failure
in the future.

If you have any doubts about the
consequences of a fall or accident,
contact your Oquo distributor for a
correct diagnosis of the materials.
Even if you do not notice any damage, pay
close attention to the sound of your bike when
you ride it again. Breakage and other problems
may cause unusual noises. If you identify
any unusual noise, stop using the bicycle
immediately and contact your dealer for a
proper diagnosis.

INSPECTION
Some of the consequences of a fall or
accident can only be detected by completely
disassembling the bicycle to check for cracks or
other signs of deterioration.
A crash or impact can cause
serious damage to your bike and its
components, causing them to fail or
wear out prematurely. Failures can
occur suddenly and without warning,
causing loss of control of the bicycle,
serious injury or even death.
SPARE PARTS
Always use original spare parts from
Oquo or the manufacturer of the
component in question. The use of
non-original spare parts can cause
damage resulting in breakdowns and
accidents with severe consequences.
