TIRE INSTALLATION
TUBELESS TIRE INSTALLATION
Do not use metal tools to install
NOTICE
or remove tubeless tires. Doing so
could damage the tire bead or the
rim wall, affecting the system's sea-
ling and causing air leaks.
01 Insert the bead of one complete side of the
tire into the rim. Make sure that there is no
dirt on the rim, tire or valve. Check that the
rotation direction of the tire is correct.
02 Insert the bead on the other side of
the tire into the rim around its entire
circumference. Start from the side
opposite the valve and from that point
install the tire on both sides of the
circumference. As you approach the
opposite side from where you started, it
will become more difficult to insert the
bead into the rim.
Hold the part of the tire on both sides of
the rim and push the tire into the area not
yet installed so that the excess will allow
you to fully install the tire.

03 Once both beads are on the bottom of the
rim, inflate the tire to seat the tire on the
rim. The tire should be properly set around
the entire rim. Note the line parallel to the
bead on the outside of the tire. The line
should be visible above the rim all the way
around the rim.
If you have trouble, you can use water
with a small amount of soap to lubricate
the tire bead.
If you are unable to set the tire with a hand
pump, it may be necessary to unscrew the
valve stem and use pressurized air to set
the tire. Once the tire is properly installed,
reinstall the valve core into the valve.
Never exceed the maximum pres-
NOTICE
sure defined by the tire manufac-
turer when attempting to set a
Tubeless tire.

04 Deflate the tire again and introduce
tubeless liquid into the tire. You can do
this by uninstalling the valve core, inserting
the required amount of tubeless fluid
and reinstalling the core. You can also
unseat a portion of the tire from the rim
(just enough to get fluid into the tire) and
reinstall the tire on the rim. Refer to the
tubeless fluid manufacturer's instructions
for the amount of fluid to use for a given
tire size.
