Inserting a new station
If you want to insert French stations to the PR channels:
You have to set the Country setting to FRANCE before insert-
ing French stations to the PR channels.
If your Country setting is not FRANCE, change the Country
setting to FRANCE. To change the Country Setting, refer to
"Changing the Country Setting" on page 24.

Press the number buttons to enter the channel
number.
The channel number blinks. When the channel setting
is complete, the blinking goes off.
• To enter a one-digit channel number, enter the
number and press

Note:
• When you insert a station, the station preset to
PR99 is deleted.
Setting a station to a PR channel
manually
If you want to set French stations to the PR channels:
You have to set the Country setting to FRANCE before setting
French stations to the PR channels.
If your Country setting is not FRANCE, change the Country
setting to FRANCE. To change the Country Setting, refer to
"Changing the Country Setting" on page 24.

• PR channel number "AV" appears on the screen
as PR 0 channel. We recommend setting this PR
channel to the VCR RF channel from a VCR con-
nected to the aerial socket.

Press the green or red button to search for a
station.
Scanning stops when the TV finds a station.
To continue searching, press the red or green button
again and repeat until the station you want appears.
CH: The terrestrial broadcast stations
CC: The cable TV stations
If reception is poor:
Press the blue or yellow button to fine-tune the station.
When your COUNTRY setting is FRANCE:
The boradcast system is displayed as "(B/G)", "(I)" or
"(L)" to the right of the CH/CC number.
• If a broadcast is not received correctly, press
choose the correct broadcast system.
• If the broadcast system is not set correctly, you may
be unable to find the station you want to view. At such
a time, press
to select the correct broadcast sys-
tem, then return to Step 2 and repeat it.
Note:
• For details on the relationship between the dis-
played CH/CC number and the actual channel
number, see the Channel Table on page 28.
