C. FIRST TIME OPERATION
This wireless doorbell push button is equipped with an automatic, self-learning
digital encoding, and therefore no adjustments are required. Please read these
instructions carefully before first use to avoid any errors during start-up.
Coding set-up between outdoor unit and indoor unit (receiver)
Indoor unit (receiver)
Setting receiver into learning mode and learning code from transmitter. For any
further information please refer to the detailed instruction manual of the
receiver.
Outdoor unit (transmitter)
After inserting the battery or removing the battery insulating strip, the indoor
unit (receiver) responds to one of the 256 possible encodings. This happens
automatically.
Note: A maximum of 4 outdoor units can be programmed to one indoor unit.
D. DOOR CHIME OPERATION
Melody selection
1.
Open the outdoor unit (transmitter) by gently pushing the two tabs on the
underside into the housing using a flat screwdriver and then remove the
upper part.
2.
Press the "S" button (16) to play the next chime melody. There are 8 differ-
ent tones to choose from.
NOTE: The chime melody can be individually set for each doorbell button. To do
so, the "S" button (16) is located in the outdoor units for a 2 or 3 family house
under each doorbell button. It is also possible to set different chime melodies for
the front and the back door.
