4.
Mark the holes with a pencil and set aside the housing part.
5.
Drill the holes at the marked points using a 6 mm masonry drill bit.
6.
Insert one of the supplied wall plugs in each hole and then screw the rear
part of the housing in position using the screws provided.
7.
The front part of the housing can now be clipped onto the mounted rear
part of the housing.
Connection to existing doorbell system
The transmitter has three connecting terminals on the back, which can be used
to connect it to your existing doorbell. Connect the transmitter with terminals
"B" and "C", parallel to your existing doorbell. If your existing doorbell operates
on DC voltage, then you must observe the correct polarity: terminal "C" is posit-
ive, terminal "B" is negative. With AC voltage, the polarity is irrelevant (8-12 V).
Connection to an external doorbell button
The transmitter can also be activated using an external doorbell button. This
doorbell button may not however be already connected to an existing doorbell
system.
Wire up the connecting terminals "A" and "C" to the terminals on the doorbell
button, using two-core wire. The length of the wire can be several metres. If you
GB
have an illuminated doorbell button, then you must remove the bulb.
NOTE: It is not possible to activate wired doorbells with the doorbell button
(transmitter).
