The outdoor unit is supplied with a 3 V lithium battery.
2.
Open the outdoor unit by gently pushing the two tabs on the underside into
the housing using a flat screwdriver and then remove the upper part.
3.
Remove the insulating strip from the battery. The outdoor unit is now ready
for use.
4.
To replace the battery, use a small flat screwdriver to lift up the battery from
its holder and then insert the new battery observing the polarity ("+" face
upward).
NOTE: After the battery is replaced in the transmitter, all receivers must be
coded again (see point C).
B. INSTALLATION
Outdoor unit (transmitter)
1.
Open the outdoor unit by gently pushing the two tabs on the underside into
the housing using a flat screwdriver and then remove the upper part.
2.
In the rear housing of the outdoor unit there are two closed slotted holes
(20), which need to be pierced for screw mounting. When mounted with an
adhesive pad, the closed holes provide increased weather protection.
3.
The pierced holes can be used as a drilling template. Hold the rear part of
the housing at the point where the outdoor unit is to be fitted.
NOTE: The outdoor unit should not be fitted directly onto metal or UPVC door
frames as this can significantly affect the range.
