Image acquisition
Once the alarm system is activated, three 640x480 pixel images or six 320x240 pixel images are acquired when motion is detected.
The detector can also be used to acquire images manually using a remote control (app, portal or local control panel).
Initialisation period
The detector is initialised for 40 seconds when the control unit enters activation mode or when the detector is set to Test. The detector
does not manage intrusions of movements during the 40 second initialisation period. If the battery of the detector is flat or if the tamper
switch is open, the blue LED lights up during the initialisation period.
Sleep Time
When the JP2 is set to Off, the detector will respect a "sleep time" of approximately 1 minute to save energy. If the system is active,
the detector will not repeat the transmission for 1 minute if motion is detected after the transmission. Any motion detected during this
time will reset the sleep time (taking back to 1 minute). Consequently, continuous motion in front of the detector will not discharge the
battery.
Battery and flat battery detection
The detector is powered by two AA 1.5 V lithium batteries.
When the detector battery is flat. When the battery voltage is flat, the detector transmits the flat battery signal to the control unit. If a flat
battery condition is detected, the blue LED lights up for 2 seconds.
While replacing the batteries, after having removed the flat batteries, press the tamper button or the function button twice to discharge
the device completely before inserting the new batteries.

During replacement, pay particular attention not to damage the contacts in the battery holder compartment.
Tamper protection
The detector is protected by a tamper switch is compressed when the fixing screw of the cover is tightened. When the fixing screw of
the cover is loosened, the tamper switch is opened and the detector sends a tamper open signal to the control unit to inform the user. If
a motion is detected while the tamper switch is open, the blue LED lights up for 2 seconds.
The detector does not detect the tamper switch state for 5 minutes after the battery is inserted.
If the tamper switch is operated in the 5 minutes during which there is no detection, the detector will immediately transmit a
tamper signal to the control unit.
When the tamper switch is compressed, the resetting of the default settings of the detector (see below) is
deactivated.
Supervision
The detector regularly transmits a supervision signal to indicate the condition according to the user's setting. The user may also press
the function button once to manually transmit the supervision signal.
Test mode
The Test mode is used to control the detection coverage of the device not the communication range with the control unit.
To access Test mode, hold the function button pressed for 5 seconds. The blue LED will light up and stay on for
approximately 30 seconds after having released the button. Test mode, which lasts for 3 minutes, will start after this time.
To make a Walk Test, press once the function button.
The detector will start initialisation during the first 30 seconds. The detector does not manage intrusions of movements during
the 30 second initialisation period.
Motion detection in front of the detector can be checked at the end of the initialisation period. The blue LED lights up for 2
seconds after detection.
Guidelines
Check that the control unit is working before inserting the batteries in the device.
Check that the control unit is within the working range while the device is in use.
A device may be removed from the system only after having removed the battery. This prevents unnecessary battery
consumption.
Connecting to the system
The detector must be learnt by the control unit to transmit the signal if motion is detected. Proceed as follows to perform the device
learning procedure.
The detector may be learnt by the control unit only within 3 minutes from switch-on.
1.
To activate the battery, extract the battery isolated on the back of the detector.
2.
Make sure that the tamper switch is open (loosened) by undoing the screw on the bottom.
3.
Make sure that the learn function has been activated on the control unit. Within 3 minutes from switch-on, hold the
function button pressed for 10 seconds and then release it when the blue LED and the illuminator blink once.
4.
After having been leant by the control unit, the detector is automatically recorded in the system. Check the control unit to
check that the learning and registration procedure were performed correctly.
5.
Once learnt by the control unit, if the detector connection is lost, the LED will blink once every 20 minutes to signal the
fault.
Restoring default settings
If the detector has not been learnt correctly by the control unit, or if you want to remove it and associated to another control unit,
restore the default settings to eliminate the settings and the information stored in the detector before being able to associate it with
another control unit. To restore the default settings:
1.
Remove the batteries and refit them. IMPORTANT: The detector must be reset within 3 minute from switch-on.
2.
The tamper switch must be open (released).
