Read the complete manual before attempting installation and activating the
system.
1. DESCRIPTION
The telephone 10-511 of the Access Control Standard range is provided with 4 function
keys: 1 key with door open function, 1 with light switch function, 1 to switch the ring tone on/
off and 1 key with a free function. You can adjust the volume of the ring tone or completely
switch it off by means of the tiny wheel at the bottom of the internal unit.
2. INSTALLATION
Check whether the following components are provided:
- telephone box with receiver
- screw for securing the front of the telephone box to the base (this screw is contained
inside the telephone box together with a finishing cap to conceal the screw).
Which cables are required?
Niko advises the following:
- JYSTY(-F2) min. 3 x 2 x 0,8mm (distance from power supply to internal or external unit
max. 250m).
- TVVF(-F2) min. 3 x 2 x 0,8mm (distance from power supply to internal or external unit
max. 250m).
- TPVF min. 3 x 2 x 0,6mm (distance from power supply to internal or external unit max.
150m).
- UTP / FTP / STP 4 x 2 x 0,5mm (distance from power supply to internal or external unit
max. 100m).
This cable connects the internal unit with the power supply.
Remark: Only 1 of the 3 cable pairs provided is used. As a result, 2 spare pairs are available
if a pair is damaged or if you want to switch to videophony.
Installation
Seperate the front of the internal unit from the base
(fig.1).
1. Insert a screw driver with a width of ±7mm in the
small opening in the base of the internal unit. Press
until the front loosens.
2. Unhook the front from the bottom of the base.
3. Unhook the front from the top of the base.
