Sound-to-Light control
• Press the button UP or DOWN until SOU1, SOU2, SOU3 or SOU4 is displayed.
• Confirm the selection by pressing the ENT button.
• The light effect is now controlled via the integrated microphone in time with the music.
• Adjust the light effect's reaction to the volume of the music via the actuator SOUND SENSITIVITY next to
the microphone. The light effect should move with the beat of the music.
Operation with the integrated controller
• Press the button UP or DOWN until Aut1, Aut2, Aut3, Aut4, Aut5 or Aut6 is displayed.
• Confirm the selection by pressing the ENT button.
• The light effect is now controlled via the integrated controller.
DMX mode
• Press the button UP or DOWN until Axxx is displayed. The value xxx can be a figure between 001 and
512 and represents the DMX start address.
• Confirm the selection by pressing the ENT button.
• The light effect is now controlled via the external DMX-controller.
Each DMX device in a DMX chain requires a so-called start address to be clearly identified
by the controller. The start address determines the first DMX channel, and the second DMX
channel follows the start address and so on.
The following table presents the possibilities for controlling the individual DMX channels.

Manual control
• Press the button UP or DOWN until Colx is displayed. The value x can be a figure between 0 and 9 and
represents the set colour.
• Select the colour, according to the following table, using the buttons UP or DOWN and confirm the
selection by pressing ENT.

Master-slave operation
In the master-slave operating mode all devices in a chain (slave devices) are controlled by the integrated
controller of the first device (master device).
• Set the DMX start address for all slave devices to A001 (see also DMX operation).
• Connect the DMX OUT of the master device to the DMX input DMX IN of the first slave device. Then con-
nect DMX OUT of the first slave device to the DMX input DMX IN of the second slave device. Proceed in
the same way for all the slave devices.
• Plug a XLR jack with terminator into the DMX output DMX OUT of the last slave device (as described in
" Connection of a DMX controller ").
• Set the desired control mode on the master device (Sound-to-light-control or control via integrated con-
troller. See also the relevant chapter above, in this manual).
Mains Connection
The mains socket, to which the light effect is connected, must be easily accessible so
the device can be quickly separated from the mains voltage in the case of a fault.
Do not let the mains cable come into contact with other cables.
Be careful when handling the mains cables and mains connectors. Mains voltage can
give severe electric shocks, which can be fatal.
Do not leave the cables trailing free; route them in an orderly and professional manner
to prevent accidents.
• Insert the IEC connector on the mains cable into the mains socket on the device.
• Plug the power plug of the power supply cable into an earthed wall socket.
• As soon as the effect projector is connected to the power supply network, it starts operation.

Handling
• Never operate the device with damaged housing or missing covers.
• The device is not suitable for continuous use. Pauses in operation increase the working life of the
product.
• Never plug the device into a mains socket immediately after the device has been taken from a cold into a
warm environment. The condensation that forms might destroy your unit. Allow the device to reach room
temperature before connecting it. Wait until the condensation has evaporated.
• Never touch the mains plug when your hands are wet.
• Never remove mains plugs from the mains socket by pulling the cable. Always pull out the mains plug by
gripping it on the surfaces provided for the purpose.
• Always disconnect the power unit from the mains socket, if the device is not going to be used for la while.
• For safety reasons always unplug the mains plug from the socket during a thunderstorm.
• To ensure sufficient ventilation, do not cover the device. In addition, the air circulation must not be
obstructed by objects such as magazines, tablecloths or curtains.
Maintenance
Regularly check the technical safety of the effect projector, for example, for damage to the mains cable or
the housing.
If you have a reason to believe that the device can no longer be operated safely, disconnect it immediately
and secure it against being operated unintentionally. Pull the power plug out of the socket!
It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
• the device is visibly damaged,
• the device no longer works
• it was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long time or
• if it was exposed to extraordinary stress caused by transport
Always observe the following safety instructions before cleaning or servicing the effect projector:
After switching the device off, wait at least 10 minutes before opening it!
When opening covers or removing parts you may expose live parts.
The device must be disconnected from all power sources before carrying out any
servicing or repair work.
Capacitors inside the device may still carry voltage even though they have been dis-
connected from all voltage sources.
Only qualified experts familiar with the hazards involved and the relevant regulations
may perform repairs.
Cleaning
The outside of the light effect should only be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth or brush.
Never use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as these may damage the surface of the
housing.
Replacing the Fuse
If you have to replace fuses, ensure that you only use fuses of the same type and rated current (see
" Technical data ").
You must not carry out your own repairs to fuses or bridge the fuse holder.
• Pull the mains plug out of the socket and separate the IEC connector from the mains connection on the
device.
• Carefully prise the fuse holder with the defective fuse out of the mains connection with a screwdriver.
• Remove the faulty fuse and replace it with a fuse of the same type.
• Carefully push the fuse holder with the new fuse back into its holder in the mains connection.
• Only then may you reconnect the device to the mains and place it back into operation.
Disposal
Please dispose of the device when it is no longer of use, according to the current statutory
requirements.
