Operation (Fig. F - G - H):
• Before fitting the jar (7) onto the motor block (1), remove the blade group (3) and
the work bowl (2).
• Put the food to be minced in the jar (7).
Preparations should be made with the jar (7) pulled out of the motor block (1) or
else, with the plug disconnected from the power socket.
• Set the jar (7) on the motor block (1) ; whirl it slightly so that the blade driving screw
(1 1a) can be easily wedged on the rotating pin (1a) (fig. F).
NEVER operate the appliance with the jar (7) empty or without lid (9).
Do not chop food in the jar (7) whose temperature rises above 50°C.
Blades (1 1) are particularly sharp, handle them with the utmost care.
• Place the lid (9) over the jar (7) and the plug (10) over the lid (9) ; turn it clockwise
for fastening purposes (fig. G).
• Drive the plug into the power socket.
• Run the appliance by simultaneously pressing both sides of the flange ring (8) (fig. H).
• To stop the appliance, just release the flange ring (8).
Locking latches have been supplied to stop the blade group (1 1) almost immediately.
Wait until the blades come to a complete standstill before removing either the lid
(9) or the jar (7) from the motor block (1).
• If you wish to pour more ingredients into the jar (7) during the mixing cycle, just pull
out the plug (10).
Useful tips (Fig. L):
• To chop solid food, do not forget to add liquid (water, broth, milk, etc.) without filling
the jar (7) to the brim (see maximum level indicated (fig. L).
• Suited for blending ....
• ... vegetable cream soups;
• ... mayonnaise;
• ... milk-shake;
• ... beverages;
• ... etc.
• Unsuited for:
• ... whipping egg whites;
• ... crushing mashed potatoes;
• ... mincing raw food.
