In the example shown, the switch point is set to 1.5 m/s and the
hysteresis to 0.25 m/s. When the velocity rises above 1.5 m/s, the relay
opens or closes. When the velocity subsequently drops, the relay only
opens or closes again if the velocity falls below the hysteresis range (to
EN
1.25 m/s). This prevents a fast change-over.
The maximum setting of the hysteresis is based on the selected range:

6.1 Maintenance
This instrument is maintenance-free and offers long service life provided
it is handled and operated properly.
Repairs must only be carried out by the manufacturer or appropriately
qualified skilled personnel.
