Important Notes
Ideal Conditions for useage of AquaSense™ and
PUREADVANTAGE™ filter
• AquaSense™ and PUREADVANTAGE™ filter are
designed for use only with municipally treated tap
water or with water from private supplies which
has been tested as safe to drink.
• Use cold tap water only (water temperature
between 4 and 38 Celsius degrees).
• Always discard the first two jugs of filtered water
when changing to a new PUREADVANTAGE™ filter.
• The PUREADVANTAGE™ filter technology can
reduce the temporary hardness of tap water.
Therefore people with heart disease and
those who must follow a controlled diet are
recommended to ask their doctor before using
the PUREADVANTAGE™ water filter.
• Reduces limescale, chlorine and certain heavy
metals (like lead and copper).
• Absorbs substances that affect smell and taste like
certain pesticides and organic impurities.
• PUREADVANTAGE™ filter contains 3M
Purification Technology The unique and
innovative PUREADVANTAGE™ filter contains 3M
Purification Technology to ensure high quality
filtration.
Hygiene
• Before replacing the PUREADVANTAGE™ filter
wash your hands.
• If the PUREADVANTAGE™ filter has been started
at room temperature and not used for prolonger
period of time (e.g. holidays) we recommend to
change the filter and to clean the jug.
• For people with impaired immunity and babies, it
is generally recommended that tap water should
be boiled; this also applies to PUREADVANTAGE™
filtered water.
• For hygiene reasons, the PUREADVANTAGE™ filter
contents are subject to special treatment with
silver. A very small amount may be transferred to
the water. This transference is within the World
Health Organization (WHO) guidelines as well as
within the Directive 98/83/EG of the EU relating to
thequality of water for human consumption.
Please keep the filter away from children.

Correct disposal

• The PUREADVANTAGE™ filter is safe to include
with your regular household waste.
• Before disposal of the AquaSense jug the Life
Time Indicator has to be removed. The Life Time
Indicator is an electronic component, which has a
useful lifetime of about 3 years. On the end of the
lifetime the Life Time Indicator is to be disposed
of according to the locally applicable regulations
and legal provisions. The Life Time Indicator can
be easily removed from the jug by removing the
top cover and the Container Unfiltered water.
• Dispose the other components of the Jug as
plastics
Exclusion of liability
AEG cannot accept any liability on their part if you do
not follow the given instructions.
