4. Sleep mode:
Please press the Timer button (5) and the Up button (3) at the same time to switch on the sleep mode.
This mode can only be set when the unit is in cooling mode. Please use the up/down buttons (3) to
select the desired temperature. The unit will operate at low fan speed and the selected temperature.
After 2 hours, the unit will automatically increase the temperature by one degree, and again by one
degree after another 2 hours. Press the Mode button (4) to exit the sleep mode or use the on/off button
to switch off the unit.
Emptying of the water tank
Please switch off the appliance before emptying the water tank.
Remove the plug from the water outlet and keep it in a safe area.
Please connect the drain hose securely and properly and ensure that it is not kinked
and free of obstacles.
Please place the hose outlet over a drain or bucket and make sure that the water
can escape freely from the unit.
Please do not immerse the end of the hose in water, as this may result in an "air
lock" in the hose.
To avoid water leakage:
Since the negative pressure of the condensate tray is high, please tilt the drain hose
downwards to the floor. It is advisable that the inclination exceeds 20 degrees.
Cleaning
Cleaning the housing
1. Press the POWER button to turn off the power and unplug the power cord.
2. Please use a neutral detergent with a soft cloth to clean the exterior surfaces and a dry cloth to dry them
off.
3. Please do not use petrol or other chemical cleaning agents to clean the unit.
Cleaing the air filter (every two weeks)
Dust collects on the filter and restricts the air flow. The restricted airflow reduces the efficiency of the system
and can cause damage to the unit if clogged.
The air filter must be cleaned regularly. The air filter is removable for easy cleaning. Do not operate the unit
without the air filter as this may contaminate the evaporator.
1. Please remove the dust filter from the unit. (fig. 6)
2. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust from the filter.
3. Please turn the filter over and rinse the air filter under running
water (max. 40° C]. Let the water flow through the filter in the
opposite direction to the air flow. Set the filter aside and allow
it to air dry completely before reinstalling.
Beware!
Do not touch the surface of the evaporator with your bare hand as this
may cause injury to fingers.
