TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
The iron does not heat.
Display light flashes and the
position "OFF" is selected.
The clothes tend to stick.
Water comes out together
with steam.
Steam does not come out.
Spray does not work.
Water comes out from the
soleplate before connecting
the iron.
Smoke comes out when
connecting the iron for the
first time.

Probable cause
1. Temperature control in very low position.
2. No mains supply.
Auto shut-off function enabled.
Very high temperature.
1. Temperature regulator in very low position.
2. S team regulator in very high position with low
temperature.
1. Steam regulator in closed position.
2. Temperature regulator in very low position.
3. No water in the tank.
4. Obstructed mechanism.
1. No water in the tank.
2. Obstructed mechanism.
The steam regulator is not properly closed.
Lubrication of some of the inner parts.
Solution
1. Turn to a higher position.
2. C heck with another appliance or plug the iron
into a different socket.
Move the iron about gently.
Select a much lower temperature.
1. S elect the temperature corresponding to the
positions "COTTON" and "LINEN".
2. T urn the steam regulator to a much lower
position ("1").
1. S elect the temperature corresponding to the steam
regulator positions "COTTON" and "LINEN".
2. T urn the temperature regulator to a steam
position (1, 2 or 3).
3. Fill the tank.
4. R emove the needle and clean it, if this does not
help, contact the Technical Service.

Make sure to place the steam regulator in position
"0". Do not forget to empty the tank when you
have finished ironing.
Do not worry. It will disappear in a short period of
time, after the first usage.
