MULTIPLE DESCALING SYSTEM
Depending on the model, this range is equipped with the "Aquacalc2"
(=component 1+2) or "Aquacalc3" (=component 1+2 +3) descaling
system.
1. Self-clean
Each time you use the steam regulator, the "self-clean" system
cleans the mechanism of scale deposits.
2. "Autolimpieza" button
This button helps eliminate calcium particles the steam chamber. If
the water of this zone is very hard, use this function approximately
every 2 weeks.
- F ill the water tank. Plug in the iron and set the temperature level to
the "LINEN" position.
- A fter the necessary warm-up period, unplug the iron and hold it
over a sink.
- P ress "Autolimpieza" button and gently shake the iron. Boiling water
and steam will come out, carrying scale or deposits that might be
there.
- W hen the iron stops dripping, release the button, connect and
warm up the iron until the rest of water is evaporated.
3. Anti-calc
The "anti-calc" cartridge has been designed to reduce the build-up
of scale produced during steam ironing, helping to extend the useful
life of your iron.
Nevertheless the "anti-calc" cartridge cannot remove all of the scale
that is produced naturally over time.
AUTO SHUT-OFF FUNCTION
(according to the model)
The auto shut-off function switches off the iron when it is left
unattended, thus increasing security and saving energy. After
plugging in the appliance, this function will be inactive for the first
2.5 minutes in order to give the appliance time to reach the set
temperature.
Later, when the iron is not moved with its soleplate facing down for 30
seconds or on its heel for 8 minutes, the safety circuit disconnects,
selecting automatically the "OFF" position whereas the display
backlight lights up intermittently.
To reconnect the iron, just move it about gently.
ANTI-DRIP SYSTEM
(according to the model)
If the temperature is set too low, the steam is automatically switched
off to avoid dripping.
CLEANING
Attention! Danger of burns!
Extract the iron connecting cable from the socket outlet and cool
down the sole plate.
Clean the apparatus body and the sole plate with a humid cloth and
dry them further.
Do not use sharp or abrasive objects for cleaning of the sole plate
and other parts of the apparatus.
In case of spots and stains adhered to the sole plate: Immediately
eliminate the spots that could have adhered to the sole plate, set the
iron to the maximum temperature and clean the sole plate with a dry
cotton cloth, doubled several times.
To keep the sole plate smooth, you should avoid any contacts with
hard metal objects. Never use a scouring pad or chemicals to clean
the sole plate.
STORING
Extract the iron connecting cable from the socket outlet and cool
down the sole plate.
Drain the remaining water from the tank. To accomplish this action,

put the iron to the inverted and inclined position, in such a way that
the water flows towards the charging hole.
Once it is empty, set the steam regulator to the "0" position.
Coil the cable around the heel.
Keep the iron in the vertical position supported by the heel.

disposal regulations, users who fail to take discarded appliances to
special refuse collection points may be penalised.
Correct disposal of discarded appliances means that they can be
recycled and processed ecologically, helping the environment and
allowing materials used in the product to be reused.
