Surface planing:
Lower cutterblock guard extrusion from (65)
top onto workpiece.

6. Start motor.
7. Feed workpiece straight across the infeed table
holding your fingers close together, guiding the
workpiece with the palm of your hands. Exert
downward pressure on the workpiece only in
the infeed table area.
8. Switch machine off if no further cutting is to be
done immediately afterwards.
Thickness planer mode

Thickness planing makes one side of your
workpiece absolutely parallel to the other
and, of course, reduces it to the desired
thickness.
The workpiece is fed through the thick-
nesser.
The surface already planed flat rests on
the thicknesser bed.
The workpiece is cut on the upper side.
The feed direction for the workpiece is
exactly opposite than for surface planing.

1. Turn both left and right lock lever (67) out-
wards.
2. Remove the outfeed table (66)

3. Loosen ratchet lock lever (68) and remove
jointer fence (69).

4. Raise cutterblock guard extrusion (70):
fully and
pull all the way outwards.

5. Swing chip chute (74) up over the cutterblock.
If a dust collector is to be connected, place the
dust collector connector (71) on the chip chute
(74).
