Use only the parts supplied with the
machine as standard equipment.
Do not make changes to any of the parts.
Required tools
Open-ended spanner 10 mm
Open-ended spanner 13 mm
Philips screwdriver
45° mitre square and 90° try square
Removal of shipping protection
1. Unscrew turning tang (37) from thicknesser bed
height setting crank, shift to the top and screw
down again.

2. Lower thicknesser bed slightly and remove the
wooden block from between thicknesser bed
and machine housing.
3. Remove foil protection from the thicknesser
bed.
4. Place cap (38) onto morticing bit receiver.
Leg installation

or a cabinet-style stand. Assembly of the
cabinet-style stand is described in separate
instructions.
1. With the help of a second person turn maschine
upside down and place it on a suitable support.

2. Screw the four legs (39) to the inside of all cor-
ners of the machine:
Fit hexagon head screws (43) into holes
from the outside;
place washers (42) and
hexagon nuts (41) on screws and tighten.
3. Slide rubber feet (40) on legs.
Strain relief installation
1. Unscrew plastic union nut (44) from strain
relief.
2. Place strain relief (46) from inside into the
shaped hole (45) of the frame.

Caution!
Ensure the cable does not run over sharp
edges and is not sharply bent.
3. Screw plastic union nut from outside back on
strain relief.
4. With the help of a second person stand
machine on its legs.
