cable backwards away from the
machine.
• Ensure a secure and natural
distance when working with the
machine.
• Always hold the machine with
both hands.
• Before starting work, always
check the ground and remove
all objects which could be
thrown by the machine.
• Always maintain a sufficient
distance from the working (de-
thatching) roller.
• Guide the de-thatcher only at
walking pace.
• Work only under good conditions
of light and visibility.
• The user must wear tightly fitting
clothing. Avoid loose clothing.
Wear robust footwear and long
work trousers.
• Make sure that no other people
or animals are close to the
working area.
• When changing direction on a
slope, be especially careful.
• Never work adjacent to garden
ponds or swimming pools.
• Observe
relating to rest periods.
• Take

backwards. Danger of tripping!
• Remember that moving parts
may also be located behind
ventilation and venting slots.
