5. Setting KEY LOCK

5.1. How to set KEY LOCK

When [KEY LOCK] is set to [ON] and the ENTER button is
pressed, the following menu will appear. Using the cursor
up/down buttons (», «), select [1. TRAY], [2. REMOTE CON-
TROL], [3. FRONT KEY], and then use the cursor left/right
buttons (|, \) to set to either [Disable] or [Enable].
When this is done, the main unit's display will appear as
shown below.

2. REMOTE CONTROL
When set to [Disable], commands from the remote control
unit cannot be input.
3. FRONT KEY
When set to [Disable], commands from the main unit's front
panel buttons cannot be input.

FRONT KEY: Enable
With these settings, the remote control unit is disabled, but
commands can be input through the main unit's front panel
buttons, but the tray cannot be opened by using the STOP
OPEN/CLOSE button.
Example 2
TRAY: Enable
REMOTE CONTROL: Disable
FRONT KEY: Disable
With these settings, the remote control unit and front panel
buttons are disabled. [TRAY] is [Enable], but since commands
are not accepted from the remote control unit and front panel
buttons, they cannot be used to open the tray. However, the
RS-232C's OP command can be used to open the tray.
Note
KEY LOCK can be set by using either the remote control unit
or the mouse.
¶ When the mouse cursor (hand pointer
an item, clicking the left mouse button selects the item.
¶ When an item is selected, clicking the right or left mouse
buttons allows the item's values to be changed.
