FITTING
1.
Prise off the lower skirt under the bumper. Remove three fixing each side at bumper tips. Undo two vertical (torx head)
bolts and remove bumper. Remove rear exhaust hanger and heat shield. Remove trim from inside vehicle to expose
chassis rails and nuts retaining bumper support arms. Remove support arms.

On top surface of chassis locate dimples near rear panel, drill through 13mm Dia. also through lower surface of chassis at
corresponding dimple. Measure forward 175mm and locate small hole in upper surface and repeat process, open up top
hole to 15mm Dia. Measure forward 170mm and drill out dimple to 15mm Dia.

Insert Spreader Plates (F1) into chassis with captive bolts dropping down through holes in lower surface. Insert Side Arms
(E) into chassis and loosely attach using Bolts (D).
4.
Loosely attach Bumper Supports (S) to end plates of Side Arms (E) and rear panel using Nuts (G). On right hand side use
end plate as a guide and drill through rear panel for Bolts (H). Loosely attach Lower Side Arms (F) to Spreader Plates (F1)
using Nuts (J) and to Side Arms (E) using Bolts (H).
5.
Attach Cross Bar (A) to Side Arms (E) using Bolts (K), tighten Bolts (K) with towbar face plate vertical.
6.
Re-mount bumper onto Bumper Supports (S), adjust to correct position and tighten all bolts. Re-fit heat shield and exhaust
hanger.
7.
Cut lower skirt as shown below and re-fit.
Note: This towbar must be used with either a Witter Towball (part number Z1) or Class A50-1 or A50-X towball dimensionally
Conforming to A50-1 with a 'D' and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the towbar.
Please refer to the vehicle specification for the trailer weight and nose limits, which must be observed.
Recommended torque settings: M8 - 27Nm, M10 - 53 Nm, M12 - 95 Nm , M14 - 150 Nm, M16 - 214 Nm
