For use with either
BM33 Flange neck option – ZF3016. Note: This towbar must be used with either a Witter Towball (part number Z11) or Class
A50-1 or A50-X towball, which dimensionally conforms to A50-1 with a 'D' and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the towbar.
BM33Q Detachable neck option – ZQ3016. Please refer to ZQ fitting instructions for installation
FITTING
1.
To remove bumper undo 9 screws on underside of bumper and 3 arch screws holding mud flaps on.
2.
Further up the arch undo 3 plastic plugs, and pull plastic wheel arch protection away from car allowing bumper removal.
This will expose a hidden screw that will require removing each side.
3.
If vehicle is fitted with reversing sensors disconnect the 4 plugs to each sensor. To aid removal of bumper as an option
the rear lights can be removed by 3 nuts both sides, and disconnect wiring plug.
4.
Remove crash beam 3 nuts ether side and disconnect the exhaust bush from the crash beam. Keep beam for
refitting.
5.
Keep gaskets in place and fit Main crossbar (A) to vehicle using existing crash beam mountings. Refit main crash
beam over crossbar (A) using original nuts and washer combination (B). Tighten crash beam and main crossbar to
vehicle.
6.
Remount the exhaust hanger back on the crash beam, Refit sensors and refit bumper.
7.
Attach preferred neck and Electrical Plate Angle (C) on right hand side only and fit flip up electrical plate (D).
(For ZQ option fit housing first before bumper refit).
Recommended torque settings: Grade 8.8 bolts: M8 - 24Nm, M10 - 52 Nm, M12 - 80 Nm, M14 - 130 Nm, M16 - 200
Nm Grade 10.9: M12 – 120Nm, M10 – 70Nm M8- 35Nm
