The work must be carried out by a qualified electrician.
Bus or sensor cables do not conduct mains voltage but safety extra-low
voltage instead. These cables should not be run parallel with mains cables
(interference signals).
Voltage 5 V DC
2 temperature setpoint value regulators (10 kilo-ohm each) for heating and
hot water
To ensure earth protection, the panels must be screwed together using the
corresponding screws.
During the commissioning procedure, the operating instructions of the
condensing boiler must be taken into account.
Prior to the installation work, de-energise the system first. The heating
circuit module is installed above the boiler module in the operator panel of
the condensing heating boiler. Accordingly, the blanking plate must be
removed from the control panel. The HKM must then be pushed into the
now accessible opening of the operator panel and properly fastened using
the 4 fastening eccentrics. The eccentrics must be firmly tightened since
otherwise the protective system IPX4D will not be fulfilled.
In case of installation in wet locations, the following requirements must be
fulfilled:
1. 1. For compliance with the protective system IPX4D:
– operation only with heating circuit module HKM (without clock timer
EMS!) with clock timer DSU in residential space areas.
2. All incoming and outgoing electrical cables must be run through the
strain relief screw connections and then be fastened properly. The screw
connections must be firmly tightened to prevent water from penetrating
into the housing interior!
