11 TRANSPORT
Only transport the shredder with the housing
closed and locked.
1. Switch the motor off and wait for the cutting
disk to stop moving.
2. Then disconnect the machine from the mains
power supply.
3. Hold the shredder at the handle (01/7) and tilt
the machine slightly.
4. Pull the machine behind you when moving to
the next location. Pay attention to the ground
to make sure the machine does not tip over
during transport.

Possible cause
Mains socket (house installation)
defective.
Extension lead defective.
Obstruction at the cutting unit.
Cutting unit clogged with wet mate-
rial to be shredded.
Blades blunt or damaged
Motor protection switch switched
off due to cutting disk overload or
blockage.
Bolts on the motor, its mounting,
the carriage or the cutting unit are
loose.
Solution
Use a different mains socket in the
house.
Inspect the lead and replace it, if
necessary.
Remove material from the cutting
unit, if necessary.
Clear the clogging by feeding branch
material.
Turn or replace the blades.
The motor can be switched on again
after a cool-down phase of approx.
five minutes.
Re-tighten bolts.
Electrical and electronic appliances can be hand-

tionary and online) provided traders are
obliged to take them back or offer this volun-
tarily.
