Thank you for deciding to buy the AnSMAnn
EnErgy 8 PLUS charger. These operating
instructions will help you to use all features of your
EnErgy 8 PLUS charger in an optimum way. Please
read the operating instructions carefully before use.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Please read the operating instructions carefully
before using the charger!
Do not use the device if there are signs of any
damage to the housing, mains plug or cable. Please
contact an authorised dealer.
Use only with niCd/niMH cells. Other types could
cause an explosion!
Observe polarity (+/-) prior to use!
Please note that due to the high charging current,
only high-performance brand rechargeable batteries
should be charged with this device!
Keep the charger in a dry place!
In order to avoid the risk of fire and/or electric
shock, the charger must be protected against high
humidity and water!
Before cleaning the unit, disconnect it from the
mains!
never attempt to open the charger!
Keep away from children's reach!
Do not leave the device unattended when in
operation!
Disconnect device from mains supply after use!
If the safety instructions are not followed, it may
lead to damage to the device or battery and could
cause injury!
We recommend the use of AnSMAnn rechargeable
batteries!

Charger with automatic refreshing function for 1-6
Micro AAA or Mignon AA cells, for 1-4 Baby C or
Mono D cells in addition to 1-2pcs 9V blocks
niCd and niMH batteries can be charged at the
same time
The charging condition is irrelevant before charging
gentle pre-charging for long time stored batteries
Automatic start of charging at contact with the
battery

Microprocessor controlled charging and monitoring
of the charging status
Microprocessor controlled and individual
supervision of each cell
Automatic charging current adjustment
reverse polarity protection
Five-way over charging protection using: -deltaV
(normal battery full detection), 0deltaV (battery
full detection for cells not displaying normal
characteristics), dT/dt (cut-off by a defined
temperature rise within a defined time), max.
Temp. (prevents cell damage due to over-heating) &
safety timer (Cut-off for poor condition cells)
