4. Position the light area on the skin and press the trigger button in
order to release a light pulse. Ensure that the light area and skin
contact sensor come into full contact with the skin. A light pulse can
only be released once the skin contact sensor is in full contact with
the skin. You will see a bright fl ash, hear a cracking noise and may
feel a slight burning sensation and/or warmth. Within 1-3 seconds
(depending on the selected intensity level), the device is ready for
the next pulse and the indicator lamp on the device is continuously
illuminated green.
6.1 Application methods
WARNING
Do not treat the same area twice within one treatment. The risk of side e ects is increased
if an area is treated more than once.
Note
The pulses from the device should be applied in rows – beginning at one end of each row,
continuing to the other end. This technique allows better monitoring of the areas of skin that
have already been treated and helps you to avoid treating the same area more than once
or treating overlapping areas of skin. The light area of the device is designed in such a way
that it leaves a temporary impression on the treated area of skin. These visible impressions
can be used for precise placement of the next pulse.
Application method 1 "fl ash-glide function":
Hold down the trigger button. The device emits a series of consecu-
tive light pulses so long as the skin contact sensor is in full contact
with the skin. Move the device onto the next area after each light
pulse. Continue to hold the light area down on the skin. This mode
is suitable for treating larger areas in particular, for example the legs.
Application method 2 "releasing individual fl ashes":
Release the trigger button after each light pulse. For the next light pulse, position the device
on the area directly next to the area that has just been treated. Ensure that the light area
and skin contact sensor come into full contact with the skin. This mode guarantees precise
treatment, e.g. for knees or ankles.
Note
If the device does not emit any light pulses and the indicator lamp is orange, this indicates
that there is not enough contact between the skin sensor and the skin.
If the device does not emit any light pulses and the indicator lamp is red, this indicates that
the skin surface to be treated is too dark.
