6. Controlling Locomotives with the Hand Controller

1. Speed control knob in the middle position => locomo-
tive is stopped.
2. Speed control knob turned to the right
=> locomotive goes to the right. The speed of the
locomotive increases as the control knob is turned
further.
3. Always wait until the locomotive has come to a stop
before changing the direction of travel.
4. Speed control knob turned to the left => locomotive goes
to the left. The speed of the locomotive increases as the
control knob is turned further.

6. Pilotage de locomotives à l'aide du régulateur
1. Régulateur en position médiane => La locomotive est
à l'arrêt.
2. Régulateur vers la droite => La loco roule vers la
droite. La vitesse dépend de la position du régulateur.
3. Avant toute inversion du sens de marche, il faut
toujours attendre l'arrêt complet de la locomotive.
4. Régulateur vers la gauche => La loco roule vers la
gauche. La vitesse dépend de la position du régula-
teur.
