Extension
• Grâce à son bus d'extension, l'unité de contrôle FF128EP peut être étendue
avec des modules supplémentaires de la série EXP.
• Il est possible d'installer au maximum 2 modules EXP... simultanément.
• Les modules EXP supportés par la FF128EP sont répartis dans les catégories
suivantes :
1.
modules de communication ;
2.
modules d'E/S numériques ;
3.
modules d'E/S analogiques.
• Pour insérer un module d'extension :
− couper l'alimentation de l'appareil,
− enlever l'un des couvercles de protection des fentes d'extension,
− introduire le crochet supérieur du module dans l'ouverture se trouvant à
gauche dans la fente,
− tourner le module vers la droite en introduisant le connecteur dans le bus,
− appuyer jusqu'à ce que le clip, situé sur le côté inférieur du module,
s'enclenche.
• Sauf indication contraire, l'ordre d'insertion des modules est libre.
• Pour améliorer la sécurité au niveau de la fixation des modules d'extension
dans les applications soumises à de fortes vibrations, il est possible d'installer
l'accessoire de blocage contenu dans l'emballage.
• Pour installer cet accessoire :
− enlever les deux vis de droite avec un tournevis Torx T7,
− positionner le pont au-dessus des modules déjà enclenchés,
− revisser les vis dans leur logement d'origine.
• Quand une FF128EP est alimentée, elle reconnaît automatiquement les
modules EXP connectés.
• Si la configuration du système est différente par rapport à la dernière détectée
(un module a été ajouté ou supprimé), la centrale demande à l'utilisateur de
confirmer la nouvelle configuration. En cas de confirmation, la nouvelle
configuration sera sauvegardée et deviendra effective. Sinon, à chaque mise
sous tension ultérieure, la discordance sera signalée.
• La configuration actuelle du système est affichée dans la page appropriée de
l'écran (modules d'extension) qui indique le numéro, le type et l'état des
modules connectés.
• La numérotation des E/S est indiquée sous chaque module.
• L'état (activé/désactivé) des E/S et des canaux de communication est présenté
avec la mention en négatif.
Expandability
• Thanks to expansion bus, the FF128EP controller can be expanded with EXP
series modules.
• It is possible to connect a maximum of 2 EXP... modules at the same time.
• The EXP modules supported by FF128EP can be grouped in the following
categories:
1.
communication modules;
2.
digital I/O modules;
3.
analog I/O modules.
• To insert an expansion module:
− remove the device power supply;
− remove the protecting cover of one of the expansion slots;
− insert the upper hook of the module into the fixing hole on the left of the
expansion slot;
− rotate right the module body, inserting the connector on the bus;
− push until the bottom clip snaps into its housing.
• Unless otherwise specified, the modules can be inserted in any sequence.
• In applications subject to considerable vibrations, the expansion modules can
be held securely in place with the special module bridge clamp accessory,
included in the pack.
• To fit this accessory:
− remove the two right screws with a Torx T7 screwdriver;
− position the bridge over the connected modules;
− screw the screws back in place again.
• When the FF128EP is powered on, it automatically recognises the EXP
modules that have been mounted.
• If the system configuration has changed with respect to the last saved (one
module has been added or removed), the controller asks the user to confirm
the new configuration. In case of confirmation, the new configuration will be
saved and will become effective; otherwise the mismatch will be shown at
every subsequent power-on of the system.
• The actual system configuration is shown in a dedicated page of the display
(expansion modules), where it is possible to see the number, the type and the
status of the modules.
• The I/O numbering is shown under each module.
• The status (energised/de-energised) of every single I/O and communication
channel is highlighted in reverse.
