Enabling Extended Desktop (Display Properties)
1. Attach your external monitor to the external monitor port and turn it on.
2. Click Start (menu), point to Settings and click Control Panel (or just click Start > Control Panel).
3. Double-click Display (icon); Display (icon) is in Appearance and Themes (category).
4. In the Display Properties dialog box, click Settings (tab).
5. Click the monitor icon (e.g.
click Apply.

dows across to either display
