3 Installation
Caution
The CPA−SC−DP contains electrostatically sensitive
components. The CPA−SC−DP will be damaged if you
touch the contact surfaces of the plug connectors or if
you do not observe the regulations for handling elec
trostatically sensitive components.
Procedure:
1. Switch off the power supply.
2. Set the station number with the rotary switches.
3. If necessary, set with the DIL switch:
4. A bus termination is required if the CPA−SC−DP is at the
start or the end of the field bus segment (see manual
P.BE−CPASC−CPVSC−DP−..).
