6.– MAINTENANCE PRODUCTS
INDUSTRIAS HERGÓM, S.L. supplies a range of products
for preserving its products:
Refractory paste, to improve airtightness and
seals.
Glass cleaner, ideal treatment for eliminating
charred grease from the glass on Cookers, chim-
neys, etc.
7.– COOKER ACCESORY (OPTIONAL)
A 90º CAST IRON ELBOW BRACE
Φ150 mm chimney elbow brace. Specially designed to
be set flush in the brickwork. Built in 2 sealed pieces
joined together with screws.
Installation tips
Please read the "Installer Manual" in full and, particu-
larly, the chapter on chimney installation. This is pro-
vided with your cooker.
It is convenient to seal the union of the elbow brace
well with refractory paste to prevent air inside the
chimney and a loss of air intake.
To join the cooker collar, secure the elbow brace with
the M.5 set screws that are provided with the cooker,
simply by fastening them to the collar

ELBOW BRACE EXTENDER COLLAR
Also built in cast iron.
If the distance from the cooker to the chimney shaft is
higher than the elbow brace (16 cm), you can use
these extender collars (Hergóm supplies one collar
with each elbow brace).
Each collar offers an additional 7 cm of length. (See
figure).
It is fastened in the same way as the elbow brace.
FRESH AIR INLET
The cooker can be installed with air intake from the
outside. It has an accessory to connect the pipe to the
cooker. This is an adapter collar with an 80 mm diam-
eter screwed to the rear of the cooker. The air inlet
pipe can be attached to this collar.
This connecting collar is not supplied with the cooker.
