Electrostatic charging
As a result of electrostatic charging,
direct contact with the circuit board
can result in destruction of the
device. Direct contact with the circuit
board must therefore be avoided.
Remarks
• If norm rails are mounted on other
metallic housing, care must be taken
to ensure that the housing of the
VMO 602-4 is not earthed.

• Coaxial terminal strips for a cable
width of maximum 8 mm.
• The "D" output must always be
closed with 75 Ohm if this is not
in use.
• Can be used in 100 x 100 mm
branching boxes or clipped on norm
rails using retention spring.
• A maximum of 20 VMO 5112 or
6 VMO 602-4 may be connected
per output, i.e. a maximum of 18
physical circuits are possible.
A 75 ohm terminating resistor is pro
vided for the last VMO. In the event
of several cascaded (series connec
tions) VMO 6024s, the looped
through output "D" must always
be used. A maximum of 3 amplifiers
may be used in a series.
• If a coaxial cable is connected to
one output, this must be closed
via a monitor or matching resistor
(75 Ohm)
