If the menu is closed the display changes after two minutes without a mouse click into passive mode. Here the desired display can be
set: Quad / Smart-Quad / sequence with 10 second interval / sequence with 5 second interval. In sequence all activated cameras will
be displayed in turn.

Also in sequence mode automatic and manual recordings can be made.

Select here if the display should switched off after 5 or 10 minutes with no mouse click, or if it should always be on. The display will
automatically switch on by mouse click, by motion detection or by the start of scheduled recording.

For the connected storage the total and the free storage capacity will be shown. Click on the storage onto which should be recorded (left
symbol for USB and right symbol for microSD card). Click again to select or deselect ring storage [71].
Note:
Select only a storage which is connected to the smart recorder. If a storage is selected that is not available, no recording will be
made. This problem will not be indicated on the display for automatic recording, only by manual recording will this problem be
indicated on the display.
If the ring storage function is not selected, and the storage is full, no more recordings can be made. In this case insert a new
storage, delete the recordings by „Storage Format " [68] or activate the ring function.
The storage medium is shown on the live display by the symbol YYY for microSD card and by YYY for USB device.

Select the storage device for formatting.

After formatting all data will be deleted

Do not change the DHCP setting (this enables the automatic connection of the smart recorder to the network)

irst download the new firmware on to the microSD card from the download area of „www.indexa.de"

Do not change the file name, and copy each file directly to the card, not into a directory.
Insert the microSD card into the smart recorder.
Click in the menu on the symbol [70] again. A window „Update Firmware" opens
