STEP 11: WIRING
WARNING
Hazardous Voltage.
Can cause personal injury of equipment damage.
Disconnect power supply before installing or
servicing equipment.
IMPORTANT
All wiring must comply with applicable code, ordi-
nances and regulations.
1. Run the 18-gauge two-strand Thermostat Wire from
the Humidistat to the Transformer near a wall outlet
and cut to length. (Leave adequate wire at both ends
for connection.)
NOTE: Wire is already connected to the Humidistat.
2. Run the 18-gauge two-strand Thermostat Wire from
the Humidifier to the Transformer and cut to length.
(Leave adequate wire at both ends for connection.)
3. At the Humidifier, connect the red and white conduc-
tors to the two motor leads using wire nuts. See Fig.
49.

4. At the transformer, connect both white conductors to
the two transformer terminals. See Fig. 50.

5. Use a wire nut to connect the red conductors
together.
6. Secure thermostat wire along route to prevent move-
ment (can use duct tape).
7. Check wiring per Fig. 51.
