5 Installation

Installation must only be carried out only by skilled, authorised technicians.
The following procedures should be carried out with the power supply disconnected, unless indicated
otherwise.

5.1 Opening the package

If the packing is not obviously damaged (due to dropping or abnormal scrapes and scratches), check the
material contained in it against the list provided in the Package contents section of the Introduction.
The packing materials are completely recyclable. The installer will be responsible for disposing of them by
recycling or according to the legislation in force in the country where the appliance is used.

5.2 Checking the markings

Before proceeding further with installation, check the identification labels to make sure the supplied
material corresponds with the required specifications, as described in the section Identification data.
Never, under any circumstances, make any changes or connections that are not described in this manual: the
use of inappropriate appliances may expose personnel and the system to serious safety hazards.
