It is best to pack the food before freezing, and packing bag used
must be dry, if the bags are frozen together. Food should be
wrapped or covered with suitable material, farms, tasteless,
impermeable to air and water, non-toxic and non-polluting, to avoid
cross-contamination and odor transfer.
Tips for Buying Frozen Food
1. When you buy frozen food, see the storage instructions on the
packaging. You will be able to store each food frozen for the period
indicated according to the star rating. This is usually the period indicated as
"Better use before ×", which is on the front of the package.
2. Check the temperature of the cabinet frozen food in the store where you
buy frozen food.
3. Make sure that the packaging of frozen foods is in perfect condition.
4. Always buy the last frozen during your shopping trip or your visit to the
supermarket.
5. Try to keep frozen foods together when you go shopping and when you
get home, as this will help keep the freshest foods.
6. Do not buy frozen food unless you can freeze them immediately. Special
insulated bags can be purchased in most supermarkets and hardware
stores. These keep frozen food cold longer.
7. For some foods, it is not necessary to defrost before cooking. The
vegetables and pasta can be added directly to boiling water or steamed.
Sauces and frozen soups can be put in a saucepan and gently heated until
thawed.
8. Use quality feed and handle them as little as possible. When food is
frozen in small quantities, it takes less time for freezing and thawing.
9. Estimate the amount of food to be frozen. When freezing large quantities
of fresh food, set the temperature control knob to the lowest position, the
freezer temperature being lowered. Thus, food can be frozen quickly, with
the freshness of well-preserved foods.
