13. You must install the U-Bolt spacer (#13) at this time. Place U-Bolt (#14) around the truck frame and through
the holes on the bracket and the U-Bolt Spacer. The U-Bolt spacer installs between the truck frame and the
bracket (#1 & #2). Be careful to get the drivers side U-Bolt under the wiring loom and up against the truck
frame. (Do not pinch wires under the U-Bolt). Push the U-Bolt (#14) through the ½" holes of the bracket and
the U-Bolt Spacer (#13). Install the flat washer (#12) and nylock nut (#11) onto the U-bolt as shown.

14. Install the 5/8" hex bolts (#3) with lock washer (#4) and flat washer (#5) down through base rails and frame
brackets (#1 &#2). (See Figure 9) Thread the 5/8" hex bolts (#3) into clip nuts (#8) placed around the frame
bracket tabs. (See Step 11) Loosely bolt frame brackets in place. Be sure they are tight against the side of truck
frame shown in Figure 8.
