Figure 4 – N2PL(U) pilot light – detail view
1.
If pilot light is completely assembled, remove transformer (when used) or transformer/
terminal block assembly by removing #4-40 screw assembly and then locking nut.
For N2PLU series, disconnect wires from terminal block and remove #4-40 screw to
remove terminal/mounting block sub-assembly.
2.
Insert body through enclosure cover from the front side, positioning marking plate and
gasket in proper location above the jewel assembly.
3.
Install and tighten locking nut to 10-15 in.-lb. torque to secure body to enclosure cover.
4.
Install transformer (when used) or transformer/terminal block assembly to body using
#4-40 screw assembly. Connect white (or yellow) transformer leads to lamp socket
leads using wire nuts provided. The N2SU series must use butt splice connectors to
connect the secondary wires on the transformer to the pilot light.
5.
Connect power source wires to proper conductors of pilot light assembly. Use the
black wires of transformer (when used) or black and white wires of lamp socket. The
N2PLU series must use the terminal block and mounting hardware provided.
