MODELS
This manual describes the installation, ope-
ration and maintenance of dishwashers: P-
100/B.
"B" • Models with drainage pump.
The model reference and technical data
appear on the name plate attached to the
machine.
These machines are designed and manu-
factured in accordance with European
safety
Directives
89/392/EEC
73/23/EEC.
This device complies with the EN55014 and
EN55104 standards on the elimination and
immunity of radio-electric interference.
INSTALLATION
For optimum service and maintenance of
the machine, carefully follow the instruc-
tions in this manual.
Water installation
Before proceeding to install the machine
check that:
1. The water supply outlet must be less
than 1.50 m from the planned location
for the machine.
2. At the end that is closest to the machine
the water supply must have a 3/4" GAS
cut-off tap to which the feed hose sup-
plied with the machine is connected.
3. The dynamic water feed pressure to the
machine must be no less than 2 bar
(200kPa) or greater than 4 bar (400kPa).
Models with lime descaler: the dynamic
water feed pressure must be no less
than 2.5 bar (250kPa)
4. The water feed flow volume must be at
least 20 litres/min.
5. In places where the water pressure is
greater than the maximum shown it will
be necessary to install a pressure regu-
lator to keep the pressure between 2 and
4 bar (200 and 400kPa).
6. If the water pressure is lower than 2 bar
(200kPa), it will be necessary to install a
pressure booster.
7. Avoid throttling with the hose when ins-
talling.
8. For gravity drainage models, connect the
drain pipe that has an outside diameter
of 30 mm to the drain outlet. The height
of the drain must be no greater than 120
mm from the machine's base.
9. In the "B" models, which are fitted with a
drainage pump, the height of the drain
must be no greater than 1 m from the
machine's base.
10. It is necessary to level the machine to
6
EN
allow for proper drainage, for which
the levelling feet must be loosened or
tightened.
Installation with lime descaler
Install a SAMMIC lime descaler when the
limescale content in the water fed into the
machine exceeds 10 hydrometric degrees.
The installation instructions are supplied
with the lime descaler.
Avoid reducing the flow rate (throttling)
and
before and after the installation, as these
may cause a loss of pressure.
Installation with a pressure booster
Install a pressure booster when the water
feed pressure to the machine is lower than
2 bar (200kPa). The pressure booster can
be installed at any point near the equip-
ment, extending the water supply and the
cut-off tap to the booster. Take care that
the cut-off tap still remains accessible.
Connect the booster at one end to the cut-
off tap and the other to the hose that is
supplied with the machine.
Electrical installation
Single-phase machines: 230V / 50 (60) Hz
/ 1ph
Before proceeding to install the machine:
1. Check that the mains voltage coincides
with the data indicated on the technical
specifications plate.
2. Install a differential bipolar (2P) switch
with a sensitivity of 30 mA and another
of 40A (2P) of the bipolar circuit breaker
type. The machine is equipped with a
cable with a 3x6mm² cross section and
2m length that must be connected
directly to the switch.
Three-phase machines:
Check that the mains voltage coincides
with the data indicated on the technical
specifications plate. The standard series
machines are supplied connected to
400V/3N.
1. Install a 25A (3P+N/400V) or 35A
(3P/230V) circuit breaker type switch.
The machine is equipped with a cable
with a 5x2.5mm² cross section and
1.70m length that must be connected
directly to the switch.
2. Change of connections to 230V/3 phase:
• Disconnect the earth connection cable
(blue) from the power supply cable in
the terminal strip
• Connect the bridge supplied in the ter-
minal strip according to the electrical
diagram
• Change the connections in the boiler
resistance and in the washing tank
resistance, with the bridges supplied
according to the electrical diagram
• Change the connections in the motor's
terminal box
The special 60 Hz models come connected
to 220V/60Hz/3~. Fit a differential switch
with a sensitivity rating of 30 mA and a 35
A (3P+N) circuit breaker.
IT IS COMPULSORY to make the EARTH con-
nection. Furthermore, the machine is fitted
with an external screw for the connection
to an equipotential earth connection
system.

MAIN SWITCH (1)

CYCLE DURATION SELECTION
KEY (2)
By successively pressing key
"2" one selects the duration of the cleaning
cycle from among three different time
spans: The pilot lights indicate the selected
cycle:
"c": Short cycle.
"d": Intermediate cycle.
"e": Long cycle.
The suitable cycle type depends on how
dirty the tableware to be washed is: the dir-
tier the tableware the longer the cycle for a
more intensive wash.
START THE CYCLE (3)
Pressing this key starts the
cycle and the related "f" pilot
light is lit. When the wash cycle ends, the
machine automatically starts the rinse cycle
shown with the "g" pilot light. When the
machine finishes the rinse cycle it remains
idle with the "f" and "g" indicators flashing.
Opening the door or starting another cycle
stops the flashing.
In the models with a drainage pump, after
the wash cycle and before the rinse, the
machine performs a drainage cycle and the
